This Privacy Notice explains how personal data submitted through the MapStake website is processed.

MapStake is an early-stage stakeholder intelligence project currently being developed in Spain.
2. What information do we collect?
When you request early access through our website, we may collect:
- your professional email address;
- the company or organisation you work for;
- your professional role, where you choose to provide it; and
- any information you subsequently provide to us in connection with your early-access request or potential participation in a pilot.
We do not intentionally request special categories of personal data through the early-access form.
3. Why do we use your information?
We process the information you provide in order to:
- respond to your early-access request;
- contact you regarding potential testing or pilot participation;
- understand whether MapStake may be relevant to your professional context;
- organise conversations or demonstrations relating to the development of MapStake; and
- manage communications directly connected with your request.
We will not use the information submitted through this form for unrelated advertising purposes.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing the information submitted through the early-access form is your consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting hello@mapstakeintelligence.com.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
5. Is providing your information mandatory?
Providing your professional email address and organisation is necessary if you wish to request early access. Your professional role is optional.
If you do not provide the required information, we will not be able to process your early-access request.
6. Service providers and recipients
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
MapStake uses Hostinger to provide website hosting and related technical infrastructure. Hostinger may process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide these services.
We may also use other technical service providers where necessary for the operation of the website, email communications or management of early-access requests. Such providers will process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide their services and in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.
Personal data will not be disclosed to other third parties unless required by law.
7. International data transfers
Some technology providers or their subprocessors may process personal data from locations outside the European Economic Area.
Where an international transfer of personal data takes place, appropriate safeguards will be used in accordance with the GDPR, including, where applicable, adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long do we keep your information?
Information submitted through the early-access form will be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to manage your request and any related early-access or pilot discussions.
If you withdraw your consent or request deletion of your data, we will delete the information unless its retention is required for compliance with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
9. Your data protection rights
You may exercise, where applicable, your rights to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request the erasure of your personal data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing;
- request data portability; and
- withdraw your consent at any time.

We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify your identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos — AEPD) if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable data-protection law.
10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
11. Changes to this Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice when necessary to reflect changes in MapStake, the services used to operate the website or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will always be available on this website together with its date of last update.
